Friends of the Maritime Museum
The Friends of The Maritime Museum are a voluntary society set up in 1989 to help the Jersey Heritage Trust establish and maintain a Maritime Museum. This was achieved in 1997 when the Maritime Museum was opened in the fine Edwardian warehouses on St Helier harbour's New North Quay.
Today the Friends concentrate on researching various aspects of Jersey's maritime history, assisting in the JHT volunteer programme at the Maritime Museum and fundraising.
Membership is open to anyone with an interest in Jersey's maritime history and heritage. Some of the benefits of membership are:-
Free admission to the Maritime Museum

.Membership subscriptions are £10 for single members, £14 for joint member, £250 for life members. Further details can be obtained from the Membership Secretary, Friends of the Maritime Museum, c/o Maritime Museum, New North Quay, St Helier, Jersey.
